We are pleased to announce that AuctionProfits 2.0 is now available. This new version includes changes to the auction and bid format to be completely compatible with the format that is used by eBay's API and data provided by eBay's Data Licensing program. In addition, new support for asynchronous operations allows applications to perform AuctionProfits mathematical analysis in the background while carrying out other tasks.

Release 1.5 Beta of AuctionProfits, including a new release of the Software Developers' Kit, is now available. It includes support for multiple workspaces, so that a single application can perform multiple auction optimization operations at the same time, and save intermediate data used for analysis. The AuctionProfits API calls have been streamlined and simplified so that multiple calls are not required to upload auction data. Improvements have been made to SOAP compatibility for both Java and Microsoft .NET environments. The new release also includes new security enhancements.

 The mathematicians and software developers at the AuctionProfits labs have worked hard to invent the best way to find the optimal auction parameters for eBay auctions or other online auctions. Our patent-pending technology will take into account the specifics about your inventory item and optimize the auction settings for you.
It systematically analyzes individual online auctions and their bid histories by examining specific patterns of behavior, constraints placed on bidder activity by the rules of the eBay auction system, and typical bidder psychology. The software performs this analysis on a set of auctions relevant to the search terms requested by the user. It then uses this information to derive a mathematical model that predicts the optimal parameters to initiate the auction, including start price, start day and date, reserve price, "buy it now" price, and auction duration.
Using this technology, we have built a web-based application that a seller can use with just one or two mouse clicks to make their eBay auctions the best they can be, providing the best eBay selling experience.
